Splash and dash at the 2025 Y Aquathon!

The fun run-swim-run event is back in action at Boroondara Sports Complex and Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre in January and February.

With three event dates happening this year, you can get involved in one race or all (and beat your time!)

Event information

Each race has short and long course event options, including individual and family events, so there’s something for everyone.

Short Course (Junior 12 – 16 years) and Short Course (Open)

  • This course consists of a 1km run, 150m swim and 1km run.

Long Course (Open) and Long Course (Family / Team – maximum three members)

  • This course consists of three 1km runs and three 250m swims.
  • As a team, this can be split between team members however you see fit, as long as the above distances are completed as a team

Event dates

  • Race one: Boroondara Sports Complex, Wednesday 15 January
  • Race two: Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre, Wednesday 5 February
  • Race three: Boroondara Sports Complex, Wednesday 26 February

Swim Squad can help you develop and improve your stroke technique, endurance and fitness, while Run Squad can help you build your confidence and reach your full running potential.
