Contact tracing at our centres

All sites are now using the Victorian Government Contact Tracing System.

Please ensure you are ready when you visit to scan the QR Code on site and complete minor details to record your visit.

Due to current health restrictions we have limited service offering available, please read the below terms and conditions for accessing our services.
  • Pools

     

    • All staff directions and signage must be strictly adhered to
    • There will no longer be designated session times. Use of the pool will be subject to opening hours and lane availability.
    • All those visiting the centre on a casual basis will be required to complete centre contact tracing requirements,
    • Participants are not to attend the pool or classes if they are unwell or have any symptoms of the virus i.e. fever, headache, and cough.
    • Participants are not to attend the pool or classes if they have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the last 14 days.
    • Kickboard and pool buoys will not be available for hire or use.
    • Participants must bring their own equipment for swimming (e.g. kickboard, pull buoy, goggles)
    • Participants must bring their own water bottle, drink fountains will only be available to re-fill bottles.
    • Face masks are recommended when 1.5m physical distancing cannot be maintained and when exercise permits.
    • Participants must maintain physical distancing, follow directional signage and clean any equipment used if applicable.
    • Lockers are now available for use
    • Change Rooms including toilets and showers will be open however, have strict capacity limits. We strongly encourage users to come to the facility ready to swim and only use the change rooms when necessary. When using the change rooms please ensure you maintain 1.5 metres from one another.
    • Our Watch around Water Policy will be in place at all times. Please familiarise yourself with the conditions relating to supervision at Ashburton Pool and Recreation Centre, Boroondara Sports Complex, and Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre
    • No private coaching or swim instruction is permitted on the sidelines at any times.
  • Gym and Group Fitness
    • No towel, no workout
    • There will no longer be designated session times for the gym. Access the gyms at any time, subject to your membership conditions and opening hours.
    • All group fitness classes are 45 minutes and will continue to require a booking. Walk Ins will be accepted provided there is availability in a class.

    • Participants are not to attend the gym or classes if they have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the last 14 days.
    • Equipment must be cleaned prior to use and after use.
    • Equipment is not to be shared during class.
    • Participants must bring own mats.
    • Participants must bring their own water bottle, drink fountains will only be available to re-fill bottles.
    • Lockers are now available for use.
    • Face masks are recommended when 1.5m physical distancing cannot be maintained and when exercise permits.
    • Participants must maintain physical distancing, follow directional signage and clean any equipment used if applicable.

    • I have reviewed the PAR-Q form and agree that I have no medical condition that would prevent me from participating in exercise safely.
  • Stadium
    • All staff directions and signage must be strictly adhered to
    • There will no longer be designated session times. Use of the courts will be subject to opening hours and court availability.
    • Face masks are recommended when 1.5m physical distancing cannot be maintained and when exercise permits. Spectators are encouraged to wear a face mask at all times.
    • Participants are not to attend the stadium if they are unwell or have any symptoms of the virus i.e. Fever, headache, and cough.
    • Participants are not to attend the stadium if they have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the last 14 days.
    • Equipment must be cleaned prior to use and after use.
    • Equipment (inc balls) will not be available for hire.
    • Participants must bring their own water bottle, drink fountains will only be in use to re-fill bottles.
    • Participants must maintain physical distancing when entering the facility, follow directional signage and clean any equipment if applicable.
    • Lockers will now be available for use.
    • Change Rooms including toilets and showers will be open however, have strict capacity limits. We strongly encourage users to come to the facility ready to swim and only use the change rooms when necessary. When using the change rooms please ensure you maintain 1.5 metres from one another.
    • Users will be asked to leave via the emergency exits on each court, exiting to the Belmore Road car park after their session. (BSC Only)
    • Casual use of the courts will continue to have restrictions in place of a maximum of 5 people per ring. If capacity has been reached you will not be permitted access to the courts.
    • Only one parent/guardian/carer per child, where parental supervision is required. 
  • Swimming Lessons
    • For contact tracing reasons the responsible adult for the booking will need to check-in themselves and any accompanying minors to the centre via a QR code scanner at the entrance. For more information on this please visit the appropriate centre updates page:
    • No swimming lessons student can enter the facility unaccompanied by a supervising adult regardless of age
    • Each student is to be accompanied by only one supervising adult
    • Dependent children may accompany a student and their supervising adult in a spectating capacity when no other child care arrangements can be made.
    • Supervising adults are required to remain out of the water and in sight of the lesson, however for social distancing requirement you may be seated outside of the immediate lesson area
    • Access to the facility will be granted no more than 10 minutes prior to the start of lesson time. We ask that swimmers please come prepared to swim by wearing bathers when they arrive
    • Patrons must leave the facility promptly upon completion of their lesson.
    • Bookings for swimming lessons do not include access to the pool prior to, or following session times. Additional access to the facility outside of lesson times is only available via our casual online booking system. Please see website for further information
    • All swimming lessons will be 28 minutes, with 2 minutes to allow children exit the lesson area and for staff to undertake cleaning between session times
    • All members, guests and staff will be required to undergo a temperature check on arrival. We cannot allow entry to anyone with a temperature 38 degrees or above
    • If your child is unwell or has been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, please do not attend your scheduled class and contact the centre immediately
